Today kids do not have the ability to escape torment. In generations before at least when kids got out of school they did not have to face the people that would harass them and in general be mean. In the era of social media and everyone being connected to the internet on all of their devices there is no escape.

Cyber bulling in my opinion is even worse of a torment then in person. People that like to bully have a way to do this with very little chance of it being tracked back to them or having to look at the person they are abusing. 

People seem to think that they can say or do whatever online and have no sense of responsibility to their actions if they do it from behind a keyboard.

To even make it worse is people response to it is "well just dont go online". Really... thats not even an option for most kids as even elementary kids have to use the internet for school.

Whats even more amazing to me is the fact that this is not exclusive to kids. Go to any media page or news article and read the comments. Grown adults calling names and threatening people for the opinions and thoughts. Grown adults....sad
